When the matter was taken up hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died on 13.07.2021 due to Covid-19. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking promotion. Pending writ petition, the petitioner was granted promotion and has attained superannuation.

2. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as abated.

No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
