PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to defreeze the petitioner's Savings bank Account No. 10968349865 so as to enable him to draw the monthly pension for his livelihood, which is being credited into that account within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner's Savings bank Account was freezed by the respondent Bank in the year 2016 and as against the order of the 1/4
Bank freezing the petitioner's account in the year 2016, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
2.Today(13.12.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent bank submits that pending this writ petition, the petitioner's savings bank account was de-freezed on 25.12.2017 and this petitioner was permitted to operate his account. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondent Bank, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
