O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to install electricity transformer (single pole transformer) in Survey No.512/49, situated at Konnaiyampatti, Edaiyathur Post, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.09.2024.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has filed an application before the respondents to install electricity transformer in the subject property. However, based on the objection given by one Rani stating that her thatched house is situated very near to the said place, the transformer was not erected. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 5 submitted that the objector, namely, Rani has filed a writ petition in 2/5

W.P.(MD)No.377 of 2024 before this Court not to erect the transformer in the subject property and the same has been disposed of by an order dated 22.01.2024. In view of the orders passed in that writ petition, the transformer has already been shifted to some other place. 5.At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is not at all on the aspect of shifting the transformer. His only grievance is that the power supply has to be given immediately. 6.By way of reply, the learned counsel for the respondents submit that the transformer has already been shifted to some other place and the power supply will be given shortly.

7.In view of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents/Electricity Department to give the power supply to the transformer as expeditiously as possible. No costs. 03.10.2024 NCC:yes/no Index:yes/no Internet:yes/no ta 3/5
