Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to immediately stop the illegal sand mining in various ponds such as Kadamba Kulam, Sadayaneri Kulam, Seenimavadi Kulam, Nalairamudayar Kulam, Peikulam, Kulayankarisal 2/4
Kulam, Perunkulam in Eral Taluk, Thoothukudi District under the guise of agricultural permit and to confiscate and take appropriate action against the antisocial elements and take action against the officials behind the said sand robbery in Eral Taluk, Thoothukudi District as per the petitioners representation dated 31.07.2024.
ORDER : This writ miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/sA.ROBINSON, Advocate for the petitioner, the Court made the following order:- We are satisfied that the interests of the farmers will not be affected in any way by entertaining these writ petitions.
