The petitioner seeks production of the person of his father Govindarajan, aged about 67 years, who is said to be missing from 10.12.2021.

2. Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State upon instructions would submit that the detenu did not carry any mobile phone or ATM card. He would further add that there is a possibility of the detenu going to North India on pilgrimage.

3. Considering the above statement, we do not think that any useful purpose will be served by keeping this petition pending. The Habeas Corpus Petition is therefore closed.

4. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Trichy City, is required to monitor the investigation.
