ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/ Accused apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under Sections 294(b), 420 and 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No.not known of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant's version is that two years back, the petitioner has received a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- from the defacto complainant on a false promise of securing a Government job. Later he cheated and has not returned the amount. When the defacto complainant questioned, the petitioner abused him in filthy language and threatened her with dire consequences. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent, he has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that during the course of enquiry, prima facie materials have been produced against the petitioner and hence a case in Crime No.228 of 2023 has been registered for the offences under Sections, 406 and 420 of IPC.
