Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to provide effective police protection for erection of transmission cell phone tower and to install the telecommunication electrical and electronics equipments, OFC cable and the maintenance work on the said BTS Transmission Tower at S.No.57/4B1, Old Court Street, Kulithalai Village, Kulithalai taluk, Karur District.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner represented that already cell phone tower was erected and nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.
