The petitioner seeking a free house constructed by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board has approached the respondent authorities, based on which, she was allotted a house at Rajakur. However, the petitioner was not inclined to accept the same and requested to allot a house at Athikulam, Madurai. Since there is no vacancy in Athikulam, the respondents have confirmed the allotment at Rajakur. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has filed a writ petition in WP(MD) No.18766 of 2022 before this Court and the same was dismissed. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed a writ appeal in W.A(MD) No.1256 of 2022 and the same is 2/5

pending. Pending the writ appeal, the petitioner has now made a request, seeking an allotment of house at Utchapatti Village, Thoppur, Madurai and filed this writ petition. 2.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in accordance with law and as per the guidelines, if any, in case, if there is any house available at Utchapatti Village, Thoppur.
