Respondents Prayer :- This Petition is filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to Direct the 1st respondent to grant 30 days Parole to Kala, 54 years the wife of Manivasagam and Chandra, 48 years the sister of Manivasagam, who are detained at the 3rd respondent Prison as under trial prisoners towards the funeral rites of Manivasagam ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.A.Jayaramachandran, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.K.Dinesh Babu, Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court made the following order:

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the order passed by this Court yesterday i.e., on 30.10.2019 has been conveyed to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Palakad, Kerala State. He further submitted that Police is coordinating with the concerned authorities at Kerala and it was intimated that the Postmortem has been completed and the authorities at Kerala are waiting for the identity of the deceased by some close relatives.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the deceased has a sister named Lakshmi and she will go over to Kerala and identify the deceased.

3. The 6th respondent is directed to inform the concerned authorities at Kerala that the sister of the deceased will identify the body. It is also open for the petitioner to accompany the sister of the deceased and he can also be permitted to identify the body. After the formalities are completed, steps can be taken to send the body of the deceased Manivasagam to his native place, as directed by this Court, by order dated 30.10.2019.

4. Post this case on 01.11.2019.
