ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 7 to measure and sub-divide the pathway measuring about 10 ft., on east west in South side in Survey Nos.1132/1, 2, 3 situated at Punjai 2/5

Pugalur South Village Group, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District and register in revenue records and classify as pathway enabling the petitioner to utilize the common pathway on the basis of the representation, dated 19.08.2024.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that, on instructions, received by him from the Revenue Thasildar that the sub-division patta in respect of the land in which the pathway is sought to be formed is in a property which is a private patta land. Therefore, the same cannot be measured and surveyed as there is no pathway and existence.

3. Recording the same, the writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
