The petitioner/defacto complainant in Crime No.7 of 2024, with a grievance that the respondent police has not filed the final report in the above case, has approached this Court. 2..Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), who takes notice for the respondents submits that on completion of investigation in Crime No.7 of 2024, the respondent police has filed the final Report before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Virudhunagar, through e-filing, on 02.06.2025. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if so advised, in the manner known to law. Mere filing of final report is not sufficient and it is the responsibility of the respondent police to ensure that the final report is taken on file by the concerned Court within a period of two weeks. It is also the responsibility of the concerned 2/4

Courts to take the final reports on file, if it is filed in order, within a period of two weeks.
