Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents Nos.1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the 4th respondent and his associates for the illegal temple construction made in Survey No.138/14 situated at Ozhugamangalam, A.Thekkur Post, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District, considering the petitioner's representations dated 16.06.2025 and 18.08.2025 in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the fourth respondent and his associates for the alleged illegal temple construction in Survey No.138/14, situated at Ozhugamangalam, A.Thekkur Post, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 16.06.2025 and 18.08.2025, in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.R.Gandhi Raj, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

This writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2, and by dispensing with notice to the respondents 3 and 4, since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against them.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner's representations dated 16.06.2025 and 18.08.2025 will be considered and disposed of by the second respondent, as steps have already been taken pursuant to the instructions of the third respondent dated 20.06.2025.

5. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 16.06.2025 and 18.08.2025, and to pass final orders on its own merits, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
