ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 5 to reinstate the petitioner in service in appropriate post in the 5th respondent college on the basis of his representation, dated 25.08.2023.

2. According to the writ petitioner, he was selected to super speciality course (Cardio Thoracic Surgery) under service quota. In order to pursue his academic career, he was relieved from the department on 01.08.2013. Due to some ailment, he underwent treatment from 10.08.2013 and he was an in-patient. He recovered only in the year 2014. After recovery, when he made a request to the Vice Chancellor of the University to condone his absence and to permit him to complete course, the said request was rejected. Now, the petitioner wants to rejoin his service in the 5th respondent hospital. Hence, he has made a representation on 25.08.2023 requesting the 2nd respondent herein to pass orders, so that he can rejoin his services. The said representation has been received by the 2nd respondent herein on 29.08.2023. So far no orders have been passed.
3. Considering the above said facts, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the representation made by the writ petitioner on 25.08.2023 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
