Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to regularize the lands purchased by the petitioner to an extent of 11,377 Sq.ft (Plot Nos.52, 53 and 54) in Survey No.1308/18, New Survey No. 158/18, Ward No.35, Ganga Nagar, Edamalaipatti Pudur Village, Trichy District which were acquired by the Government under the Land ceiling Act on payment of necessary fees/charges as directed by the respondents within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the first respondent to regularize the lands purchased by the petitioner to an extent of 11,377 Sq.ft (Plot Nos.52, 53 and 54) in Survey No.1308/18, New Survey No.158/18, Ward No.35, Ganga Nagar, Edamalaipatti Pudur Village, Trichy District which were acquired by the Government under the Land ceiling Act on payment of necessary fees/charges as directed by the respondents.

2. It is informed by the learned Government Advocate that the second respondent has already held an enquiry in which the petitioner has participated and the matter has been escalated to the first respondent, who will pass orders within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
