O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY, J.] The petitioner has filed the above writ petition as a public interest litigation to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to conduct a detailed enquiry in the fraud committed by the sixth respondent for submitting bogus reports and misusing the Government funds allocated for conducting coaching classes for poor Government School students in the participation of NEET Examination, on the basis of his representation dated 13.09.2019.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that the Joint Director, School Education Department, has issued a charge memo to the sixth respondent in respect of the alleged irregularities committed by her.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that since the Joint Director has initiated proceedings against the sixth respondent in respect of the alleged irregularities committed by her, the writ petition may be closed.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, since the School Education Department has initiated proceedings against the sixth respondent in respect of the alleged irregularities committed by her, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
