ORDER

The petitioner is the daughter of the deceased in Crime No.19 of 2025, which is pending on the file of the 3rd respondent police. The petitioner has approached this court that the respondent police are not conducting the investigation in a proper manner. The petitioner's father died in an accident on 01.02.2025. The petitioner's mother lodged a complaint and the same has been registered in Crime No.19 of 2025 for the offence under Sections 281 and 125(a) of BNS. The petitioner by referring to two photographs submits that the petitioner's father has suffered cut injuries. However, the respondent police has treated the complaint as an accident case and is conducting the investigation in a casual manner.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the case has been registered on the complaint of the petitioner's mother / wife of the deceased. The wife of the deceased has confirmed that it is only an accident. They have also examined one Jeyam, who is an eye witness to the accident. However, the petitioner with an apprehension has lodged the complaint, as if it is a murder.

3.The petitioner is having an apprehension that her father might have been murdered. We are also witnessing several murders committed by the wife in the recent past and therefore, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thirumangalam shall monitor the investigation and rule out the petitioner's apprehension. The petitioner is also permitted to appear before the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thirumangalam and produce the materials if any in support of her contention.

4.The respondent police shall conduct the investigation in a proper manner and find out the truth. This petition is disposed of accordingly.
