ORDER
The petitioner is the wife and the respondent is the husband. The marriage between the parties was solemnized on 31.05.2009 and out of the wedlock, they 1/4
are having a male child. Sometime after the marriage, the relationship between the parties got strained and they are living separately for the past twelve years. 2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed a petition in HMOP.No.187 of 2021 before the Family Court, Madurai, seeking divorce. Her grievance is that the respondent, though entered appearance, has not yet filed his counter affidavit and is dragging on the proceedings. Hence, the petitioner has filed this revision seeking a direction for early disposal of the proceedings in HMOP.No.187 of 2021. 3.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner. There is no representation for the respondent.
4.It appears that the petition in HMOP.No.187 of 2021 for divorce was filed on 19.02.2021 and no counter affidavit has been filed by the respondent till date. 2/4
Further, it is the claim of the petitioner that they are living separately for the past twelve years. 5.Considering the age and stage of the proceedings and the submissions made by the petitioner's Counsel, this revision petition stands disposed of, with a direction to the Family Court, Madurai, to expedite the trial in HMOP.No.187 of 2021 and to conclude the proceedings within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
