PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for the entire records pertaining to the impugned First Information Report in Crime No.201 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent police station and quash the same as against the petitioner is concerned. accused for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 355 and 506(ii) IPC. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been residing at Mumbai and has been doing business and filed various documents to establish that he is in Mumbai and doing business. He has further submitted that when he came to the native village, he has been unnecessarily roped in the criminal case. Hence, he sought for quashment of the FIR. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent Police has submitted that the Police have completed the investigation and filed charge sheet by way of e-filing in CNR No.TNTL040348632023 on 07.09.2023. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the charge sheets are being filed by way of e-filing, however, they are not considered by the Courts for a considerable length of time, thereby, it becomes very difficult for the parties, even to challenge the charge sheet.

4.Considering the above, the learned Magistrate is hereby directed to consider the charge sheet filed by the respondent Police by way of e-filing and if it is in order, register the same within a period of two weeks and on such taking on file, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet. 2/4

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
