Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 or other appropriate authorities under the Employees Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 and the Employees Pension Scheme, 1995 to revise and enhance the monthly pension paid to the petitioners by permitting them to remit back 8.33% share of the employer's contribution proportionate to the actual salary of the petitioners in excess of Rs.6,500/- to the Employee's Pension Scheme account from the date of commencement of the Scheme, 1995 or from the date the salary of the
petitioners exceeded Rs.6,500/- and disburse the recomputed pension with arrears calculated on the basic of average of 12 months salary exceeding the supposed ceiling limit immediately preceding the date of retirement / exit from the membership of the pension fund as granted vide Judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in S.L.P.No.33032-33033 of 2015 and circular dated Pension - I/12/33/EPSAmendment/96/Vol.II dated 23.03.2017, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
