[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] We have heard Mr.R.Karthik Rajan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned State Government Pleader, for respondents 1 to 4, Mr.K.Kaviarasan, learned counsel for the fifth respondent and Mr.M.Thirunavukkarasu, learned counsel for the sixth respondent.

2. This Court had directed the Committee to inspect the roads as alleged in the writ petition. The District Collector along with the Divisional Engineer (Highways), Sivagangai, inspected the roads and submitted the status report. According to the status report, the roads have been constructed as per the norms and in order. Even third party audit has been conducted on the same.

3. In light of the report placed on record, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P(MD) No.18558 of 2023 is closed.
