O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to issue patta in the name of Sri Muthumariamman Temple for the temple land situated in Survey No.505/2 having extent of 16 Ares (40 Cents) situated at Keelakottai Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in the light of petitioner's last representation dated 31.07.2023 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The petitioner submitted a representation on 31.07.2023 to the 4th respondent for issuance of patta for the temple land in Survey No. 505/2 having extent of 16 Ares (40 Cents) situated at Keelakottai Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk. However, no action has been taken on the said application. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5
4. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submits that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the 4th respondent/Tahsildar within a time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say, if any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
