PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the proceeding in Na.Ka.No. 560/2022/F1 dated 13.10.2022 on the file of the 3rd respondent herein and quash the same.

[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] Challenging the proceedings of the third respondent in Na.Ka.No. 560/2022/F1, dated 13.10.2022, wherein the petitioner was directed to remove the encroachment within 15 days, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 has produced a communication of the Revenue Tahsildar, Lalgudi and submitted that the

authorities are taking steps to remove the encroachment only against S.No.51/7, situated at Mummudi Cholamangalam Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District and not against the petitioner's property, for which the learned counsel for the petitioner is agreeable.

3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to take necessary action for removal of encroachment in S.No.51/7, after affording sufficient opportunity to all the parties concerned and by following due process of law, as expeditiously as possible.
