O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.450 of 2019 on the file of the second repsondent to third respondent, who is competent agency to investigate the matter.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.450 of 2019 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 427, 109, 307 and 506(ii) IPC against nine persons. Even though the case has been registered in the year 2019, no further progress is made in the investigation process.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that Final Report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, in E-Filing No.1989 of 2022.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), there shall be direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, to expedite the trial process and complete the same within the time stipulated as per rules.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
