Prayer in Crl.OP(MD) No.9844 of 2024 :

This Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the I Additional District and Sessions Court and (Special Court for SC/ST)(POA) Act Trichy to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application and grant bail on the same date of surrender itself in connection with the case in Crime No.11 of 2024, on the file of the second respondent police. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Thiru.J.Lawrance, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Thiru.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 & 2, this Court made the following order:

"This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender of the petitioner before the I Additional District and Sessions Court and (Special Court for SC/ST) (POA) Act, Trichy, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9844 of 2024 dated 24.07.2024.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner could not surrender before the learned Sessions Judge and produce the 2/4

sureties within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court. 3.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this petition is allowed and time is extended by ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order."
