ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to grant approval for the petitioner's appointment as Graduate Teacher in the fourth respondent school on 28.07.2017, by considering the proposal dated 18.09.2017 of the fourth respondent. 1/6
2.Mr.A.Thiagarajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. Notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with, since no adverse order is going to be passed against the fourth respondent. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.According to the petitioner, he was appointed as Graduate Teacher in the fourth respondent School on 28.07.2017 in the vacancy arose due to the retirement of one Alexchandra Devi. The fourth respondent has sent the proposal to the second respondent through the third respondent on 18.09.2017 for approval of appointment of the petitioner. The third respondent has returned the proposal on various dates, for rectification of certain defects. The fourth respondent has resubmitted the proposal, after rectification of the defects finally on 26.02.2019. Thereafter, the third respondent has forwarded the proposal to the second respondent and the same is now pending with the second respondent. Since no order is passed thereon, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition. 4.
Considering the limited relief sought for, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the proposal submitted by the fourth respondent on 26.02.2019, on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
