PRAYER in W.P.(MD) No.2250 of 2016 :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the impugned letter and guidelines issued by the first respondent through his proceedings in F.No.1-26-7-2015-PE-1, dated 29.10.2015 and the consequential impugned notification issued by the third respondent for contractual appointments in File No.T-1/6/2015-E.1 dated 24.11.2015 and quash the same.

In all writ petitions For Petitioner : Mr.L.Shaji Chellan For Respondents : Mr.D.Saravanan - for R1 Mr. A.Aruivuchandran - for R2 & R3 COMMON ORDER When these Writ Petitions are taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that certain persons were appointed to the post of Chief Manager, Senior Manager, and Manager for a period of three years, on contract basis. The above 2/4

appointments were made in the year 2015. Now the tenure of three years period is over and therefore, there is nothing remains to be adjudicated further in these writ petitions.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that he has also acknowledged the view of the petitioner. The tenure of the above said appointments got over and hence, nothing survives in these writ petitions.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the prayer sought for in these writ petitions has become infructuous

4. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
