ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.This writ petition has been filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to register the death petitioner's father namely Rakkannan and to issue the death certificate by disposing of the petitioner's application dated 23.02.2024.

3.The case of the petitioner is that he has submitted an application to the second respondent to register the death of his father. Despite enquiry is being conducted, not order has been passed. Hence, he seeks direction. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader submits that if the petitioner produces all the documents to prove the death of his father to the second respondent, the same will be considered on its own merits and orders will be 2/5

passed.

5.In view of the same, the petitioner is permitted to produce all the documents before the second respondent. On such production, the second respondent shall pass an order on the petitioner's application on merits and in accordance with law after conducting enquiry within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
