PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No. 1 and 2 herein to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action against the 3rd respondent on the basis of the complaint dated 31.07.2023 within a stipulated time period in accordance with law.

O RDER This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondent police to take action in respect of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 31.07.2023. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is a cooking vessel belonging to the petitioner community people, aged about 300 years and the respondent No.3 took the said vessel, for which a complaint is filed, but no action stated to have been taken, thereby sought for suitable directions. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the cooking vessel referred by the petitioner is in the safe custody of the Grama Panchayat for the last 60 years.

4.Since the respondent No.3 in the capacity of the Executive Officer of the Panchayat has got the same in the office for safe custody, no further directions can be given in this petition.

5.Accordingly, this Petition is closed. No costs. 2/4
