ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner is that the house tax receipt issued in favour of the petitioner for the Door No.2/297, Middle Street, K.Navaneethakrishnapuram, North Kavalkurichi, Veerakeralampudur Taluk, Tenkasi District has been cancelled without even providing any opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The petitioner has submitted a representation and also filed this writ petition.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader seeks time to file counter. 3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to conduct enquiry with regard to the averments made by the petitioner in the representation dated 21.08.2023 and take a decision and pass a reasoned order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
