PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to effect the patta name transfer of the land in S.No.150/14B to the extent of 16 cents in Amburpatti Village, Viralimalai Taluk, Pudukkottai District to the petitioner's name by considering his representation dated 04.05.2023 within a period stipulated time.

The petitioner, with a grievance that an application filed by the petitioner for change of patta has not been considered by the Tahsildar, Viralimalai has filed this writ petition. 2.Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents submits that at present they are entertaining applications for change of patta only through online. If the petitioner submits the application along with the required documents through online, the same shall be considered within a reasonable time.
3.Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit an application through online along with required documents, within ten days from the date of receipt of a 2/4
copy of this order. In such event, the petitioner's application shall be considered by the respondents and a decision would be taken within a period of twelve weeks from thereon.
