Respondent Prayer :- Criminal Appeal has been filed under Section 374(2) of Criminal Procedure Code to admit this appeal to call for the records from the Lower Court and to set aside the judgment passed by the Special Court for Prevention of Corruption Act cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tuticorin District in Special C.C.No.7 of 2007 dated 25.10.2018.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent, this Court made the following order:

'By the Judgment dated 15.05.2025, this Court confirmed the conviction rendered by the trial Court and issued direction to secure the accused person to serve the remaining period and ordered to post the matter today under the caption for reporting compliance.

2.Today the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the accused was secured and remanded by the respondent police. Hence, the order of this Court has been complied.
