The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to initiate proceedings to cancel the patta No.898 issued to the fourth respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader for the official respondents and the learned Counsel for the fourth respondent.

3. The petitioner has made an application for cancellation of patta issued to the fourth respondent. Considering the limited scope of the writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Revenue Divisional Officer / second respondent to conduct a due enquiry, affording an opportunity of hearing to both the petitioner and the fourth respondent, and to pass final orders 2/4
