ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 22.02.2024, filed under Section 12 of the Patta Passbook Act, 1983.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.H.Velavadhas, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property comprised in S.No.332/4A and S.No.322/4B, situated at Sirankattupatti Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District. The patta for the subject property has been wrongly transferred in the names of one Selvam and Manokaran. Therefore, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent on 22.02.2024, seeking cancellation of the patta transfer order issued in favour of the aforesaid persons. Since the appeal has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for respondents, would submit that the appeal filed by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 22.02.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, the aforesaid Selvam and Manoharan, and other interested parties.
