ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to grant permission and protection for musical competition scheduled to be held on 28.09.2024 and 29.09.2024 at Villur Village, Kallikudi Panchayat Union, Madurai District by considering the representation of the writ petitioner dated 11.09.2024.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the writ petitioner has sent a representation to the second respondent through post and that though the writ petitioner was directed to appear for enquiry, he has not turned up.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner is ready to appear before the second respondent for enquiry.

5. Considering the above, the writ petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent today (27.09.2024) evening at 04.00 p.m. and on such appearance, the second respondent is directed to consider the writ petitioner's representation and take a decision today (27.09.2024) itself.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
