Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to permit the conduct of Varusha Abhisekam (Annual day Abhisekam) in Arulmighu Sree Muthu Mariamman Thirukovil by villagers, on any auspicious day fixed by the villagers without excluding any one of the villagers and without the chairmanship of anyone as Ambalam. 1/7

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to permit the conduct of Varusha Abhisekam (Annual Day Abhisekam) in Arulmighu Sree Muthu Mariamman Thirukovil by the villagers, on any auspicious day fixed by them, without excluding any villager and without the chairmanship of anyone as Ambalam.
2. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner and the fourth respondent (Ambalam) have arrived at a compromise and have filed a joint affidavit. In the said affidavit, it is stated that the petitioner and the fourth respondent have agreed as follows:
(i) The petitioner shall conduct the Varusha Abhisekam on 14.09.2025. (ii) The fourth respondent shall conduct the Varusha Abhisekam on 12.09.2025.

(iii) Both parties have further agreed that they shall not disturb each other while conducting their respective Abhisekam.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that respondent Nos.1 and 2 have no objection to the conduct of the Varusha Abhisekam by the petitioner and the fourth respondent in the above stated manner. 5/7
In view of the joint affidavit filed by the petitioner and the fourth respondent and recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
