ORDER

The petitioner has submitted an application before the first respondent as early as on 25.09.2020 to cancel the patta issued by the second respondent in favour of the third respondent. However, this application has not been considered to date and thus aggrieved, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. Taking note of the fact that a simple application for grant of patta has been pending on the file of the first respondent for over four years as on date, this Writ Petition is allowed and a mandamus is issued to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated

25.09.2020 and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
