ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue patta in his name for the land in S.F.No.224/19 to an extent of 120 ft. situate at Thoppampatti Village, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering his representation dated 24.10.2016.

2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing on 14.06.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2016 has been rejected by the 2/4

third respondent/the Tashildar, Aathur, by his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.5791/2016/A2, dated 16.06.2023. A copy of the proceedings has also been received by the petitioner's wife one Pitchaimmal.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required. No costs.
