Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the entire records pertaining to the order passed by the respondent vide his proceeding in Na.Ka.No.G6/34066/15, dated 28.12.2015 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent to renew his gun licence (vide license No.333/596/TNV (D.B.B.L. gun) for the period from 01.01.2015 to 31.12.2017.

Challenging the order passed by the respondent cancelling the arms licence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
2. Heard both sides.
3. Against the order cancelling the arms licence, an appeal remedy is provided under the Arms Act. Without availing the alternative remedy, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition. In the above circumstances, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, liberty is given to the
