ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to quash the FIR in Crime No.287 of 2024 pending on the file of the first respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that when the accused 3 and 4 have filed a petition to quash the FIR, the first respondent police has submitted a report stating that they have filed negative report with regard to the accused 3 and 4 and on that basis, the petition was ordered to be disposed of and that the present petition has been filed by the second accused to quash the FIR. He would further submit that the case in counter is pending in Crime No.23 of 2024 and that on the basis of the direction given by the learned Magistrate, the present FIR came to be registered.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, 2/4

has already filed the final report against the petitioner and other accused on 18.09.2024 before the jurisdictional Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet in the manner known to law, if so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
