ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a declaration that Land Acquisition Proceedings initiated under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 in respect of the petitioner's land in Survey No.332/5 in Pattinamkathan Village, Ramanathapuram, Ramanathapuram District, deemed to have lapsed in view of Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and to pay compensation as per new Act.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 08.07.2025, the learned counsel for the petitioner reported 'no instructions'. Recording the same, 2/4

the Registry was directed to remove the name of the learned counsel for the petitioner and list the matter by printing the name of the petitioner. Today, the Writ Petition is listed by printing the name of the petitioner. There is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed for default. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
