PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 and 4 to provide patta to the petitioner on the basis of decree in O.S.No.33 of 2003, dated 25.02.2011 passed by the District Munsif, Ramanathapuram, regarding the land in survey No.112/7 in an extent about 0.24.5 hectare situated at Devipattinam Village Ramanathapuram Taluk and District within the time stipulated by this Court.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner had passed away on 14.02.2020. But so far, no steps have been taken to implead the legal heirs of the deceased writ petitioner.

2. The writ petitioner, is shown as the first respondent in connected Civil Revision Petition in C.R.P(MD) No.1337 of 2018. In the said revision petition, the petitioner has filed C.M.P(MD) No.8131 of 2021, to implead the legal heirs of the deceased M.Bismillakhan.

3. The proposed parties were served and since there was no appearance on their side, the LR petition has been allowed. However, for the past four years no steps have been taken to implead the legal heirs of the deceased writ petitioner.

4. Therefore, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
