PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.405 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused is apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent, for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(i), 406, 420 of IPC, in Crime No.405 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. This petition has been filed on the ground that the petitioner has sent a legal notice on 15.11.2022 to the defacto complainant, stating that the above said 1/3

transaction took place between the defato complainant and one Sakthivel, who is stated to be one of the political functionary. In the above said transaction, this petitioner is not involved at all. According to him, the above said Sakthivel has not issued blank cheque in favour of the defacto complainant for Rs.3,50,000/-.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint has been given against this petitioner, stating that promising to secure the job, he received Rs.3,50,000/-. Thereafter, failed to return the same to the defacto complainant and not secured the job also.

4. Considering the grievous nature of allegations made against the petitioner, unless this petitioner is subjected to interrogation, truth will not come. For the same reason also, the learned Principal District Judge, Pudukkottai dismissed the earlier anticipatory bail application filed by the petitioner on 01.09.2023.
