O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application No.2018/0301/24/008053, dated 04.05.2018 and sanction the benefits under the "Thallikku Thangam Thittam" marriage assistant scheme as provided under G.O.Ms.No.47 (Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme (SW3) dated 23.05.2016.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner applied for benefits under Marriage Assistant Scheme published by the Tamil Nadu Government vide G.O.Ms.No.47(Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme (SW3) dated 23.05.2016. The petitioner submitted an application through on-line on 04.05.2018. The respondents have issued an acknowledgment to the receipt of the application No.2018/0301/24/008053, dated 04.05.2018. However, the benefit was not granted to the petitioner, hence the petitioner before this Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner has applied for the benefits under the Marriage Assistant Scheme along with required documents. However, there is some discrepancy in respect of application No.2018/0301/24/008053, dated 04.05.2018 in the system. Therefore, they could not process it. 4.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate and also the fact that all the relevant documents has already been uploaded, respondents are directed to set right the discrepancy that had happened in uploading in the system. The petitioner is directed to make one more application through on-line, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such application being made the respondents are directed to process the same and issue benefits, within a period of two weeks therefrom.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
