ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of his representation dated 23.09.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the mother of the fourth respondent and that the fourth respondent with the help of his brother-in-law/third respondent herein, who is working as Inspector of Police, has been threatening the petitioner to part away her property.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, CSR No.424 of 2024 came to be registered and is pending for enquiry.

4. Considering the nature of the charges levelled against the third respondent, the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police is directed to conduct enquiry by issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the fourth respondent and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
