********* (Order of the Court was made by PUSHPA SATHYNARAYANA,J) The Petitioner, who has completed Law Graduation, is declined the enrollment by the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu, in view of the pendency of Criminal Case against him.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.It is seen from the affidavit that in one of the cases, he has been acquitted, however, yet another case in C.C.No.72 of 2015, on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.1, Sivagangai is pending. Since it is pending from the year 2015, the Petitioner has also filed Cr.O.P(MD)No.10978 of 2021 for early disposal of the same, which was disposed of on 18.11.2021, by granting two months for the Court below to dispose of the same. W.P(MD)NO.22739 of 2021 expired, the Petitioner has rushed to this Court seeking direction to process his petition for enrollment, which is pending before the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu.

4.If there are criminal cases pending against the Petitioner, who has completed his law course, has to take every step legally to come out clean from the criminal proceedings. 5.Therefore, this Court is not in a position to grant any positive direction to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu, as prayed for in the Writ Petition and in the event, the Petitioner has been acquitted from the above case, as referred to in Cr.O.P(MD)No.10978 of 2021, he may approach the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu, for his enrollment.

6.With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
