ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to include the petitioner's name in the panel list for
the year 2015-2016 for the promotional post of Deputy Superintendent of Police, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2018.
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, based on the counter affidavit filed by the fourth respondent, submitted that no representation dated 06.09.2018 was addressed to the first respondent and therefore, if any any fresh representation is made by the petitioner, the same shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law. The learned counsel for the petitioner also agreed to submit a fresh representation before the authorities concerned.
3.In view of the aforesaid submissions made on either side, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any such representation is received within the aforesaid period, the same shall be considered by the concerned authority on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks thereafter. It is made clear that the authority concerned shall independently consider the petitioner's representation, without being influenced by any of the statements made in the counter affidavit filed by the second respondent. 4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
