This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to enable the petitioner to complete the drainage connection line from the petitioner's house to main sewage line in New Ward No.26, Pasumpon Street, Sundra Kothan Lane, Thirumangalam, Madurai.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner wants to connect a sewage line from the main drainage line for which the third respondent is objecting. In the above circumstances, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner gave a complaint before the second respondent police seeking for police protection. But, no action has been taken so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted and during enquiry, the petitioner also appeared and gave a statement that he will approach the concerned civil Court seeking for appropriate remedy.
4. Considering the fact that the petitioner's complaint has been enquired into and closed on the statement given by the petitioner that he will approach the concerned Civil Court seeking appropriate remedy, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted at this stage. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
