[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard Mr.A.Arun, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner has filed this Public Interest Litigation to consider his representation, dated 22.08.2019, where the petitioner wants to bifurcate the Revenue Village of Puthanampatti from Chettikulam Sub-Registrar office and include into Thuraiyur Sub-Registrar office, Ariyalur District Registration, Trichy Zonal Deputy Inspector General of Registration.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner has been forwarded from the Deputy Inspector General of Registration to the Inspector General of Registration.

4. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, we direct the Inspector General of Registration to forward the representation of the petitioner to the Government to take appropriate decision as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
