[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to ensure that no public meetings are held in Pachavarna Swamy Kovil Street or in any other small roads by occupying the extent of the road area, pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 07.05.2018.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the respondents do not grant any permission to conduct public meetings in Panchavarna Swamy Kovil Street or any other small roads around Panchavarna Swamy Kovil Street.
