PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to directing the 2nd Respondent to provide Police Protection to life and limb of the Petitioner and her children from the Respondents 3 to 6. 1/5

For Petitioner : Mr.R.Murugappan For Respondents 1& 2 : Mr.SS.Madhavan, Government Advocate O R D E R This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to provide protection from Respondents 3 to 6, as the unofficial respondents have been harassing the petitioner and threatening the petitioner to sell the petitioner's immovable property, for which the petitioner is not inclined. 2.The petitioner is stated to have filed a complaint to the respondent police on 07.09.2023, however, no action has been taken by the police. Therefore, sought for suitable direction.

3.Learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submits that the representation of the petitioner has been received and enquiry is being initiated and reported that within short time, they will conclude the enquiry. 2/5

4.In view of the submissions made by both sides, the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry as quickly as possible and if at all any cognizable offence is made out the respondent police shall register a case against the unofficial respondents.
